Last day in Newport

Tomorrow is my last day in Newport! So glad I got a nice day today to walk on the beach at sunset for the last time!

If you watched AI tonight you would have seen a beautiful girl from Vernon, TX sing with her puppet! She did get with and without Oscar. I went to high school with her younger sister! So exciting to see someone you know on tv! Way to go Halie and good luck in Hollywood!

Next stop...

Kennewick, WA!

I decided last week to go to yet another state haha.  Kennewick is part of the "Tri-cities" area in Southeast Washington.  It will be a bigger town than what I have been in so I'm excited about that.  I'm a little nervous that I will be working at a skilled nursing facility but I think it should be okay once I get used to it. I guess we'll see how it goes!

 The sad part is that I only have 2 more weeks in Newport.  I can't believe that a will have been here 15 weeks.  I really have fallen in love with the coast and will miss seeing the ocean out my front door! Speaking of, here are a few pictures of one of the sunsets this week.  The weather has been awesome!

Our first night consisted of drinks at the hotel, dinner at Southpark, watching the Thunder game at The Daily Grill, Trader Vic's for free Mai Tais, dancing and VooDoo donuts!
