Mom and I went on a walk one morning to check out the beach and the Yaquina Bay Lighthouse (different from the Yaquina
Head Lighthouse). My house is across the street from the beach so you can be on the beach in 2 minutes (Yes I am going to get spoiled!). Then if you head south you enter into the Yaquina Bay State Recreational Area and the Yaquina Bay Lighthouse. You can also see the Yaquina Bay Bridge that connects the north and south parts of town (on Highway 101). All of that is just .5 miles away...crazy!
