First Travel Job

Eric (the other PT in Vinita)

 My first traveling job was in Vinita, OK (about an hour northeast of Tulsa) from July 9th to October 5th. I couldn't have asked for a better place to have my first job.  The people I worked with were so great and supportive of me being a new grad! I'm sure I flooded them with questions! I was so glad to be in an outpatient clinic with a population of people I was comfortable treating.  I also had the chance to do some acute care, not my favorite, but I became a lot more comfortable with it.  One of my goals of the 3 months in Vinita was not to dread a hospital evaluation---and I don't!  

I had a lot of ups and downs in those 3 months trying to get adjusted to a new career, being away from friends and family, and being in a new town but I made it and grew a lot in a short period of time! 

 I was sad to leave the people there (even the crazies) but ready to move outside of Oklahoma for a bit. Thanks again to all you guys in Vinita...you will be missed!
